Ever needed to charge your iPod, cell phone, or other mobile device and there isn’t a power outlet available? A new gadget from Callpod may be your answer!
On the Fueltank product page, it states, “Fueltank® can simultaneously charge two small electronic devices without the use of an outlet. It contains a rechargeable lithium ion battery which has more than 7 times the capacity of a standard mobile phone. The Fueltank utilizes device-specific adapters – the same ones used for Chargepod® – so you can customize your Fueltank™ to meet the exact needs of you and your family.”
The Fueltank retails for $70 on the Callpod website. The Fueltank includes a voucher for 1 free adapter, redeemable on their website, however, additional adapters can be purchased for around $10 each. According to their website, they had adapters for over 3,000 different devices.
According to one source, they were able to charge an iPhone 3G S, a PSP, a Bluetooth headset, and a Blackberry on one charge of the Fueltank. It is important to note that this device is only for small electronic devices, not laptops or other larger devices.
