Review: CDBurnerXP, Free Burning Software

I was watching Tekzilla recently and they featured CDBurnerXP as their freebie download of the week.  It’s a very nice and easy-to-use burning suite that can suit most of your burning needs.  And better yet, IT’S FREE!

CDBurnerXP can burn CDs, DVDs, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVDs.  It also can create and burn ISO images which makes it great for getting those downloads to disc and comes in multiple languages.  It is not only free for personal use, but commercial use as well.  Best of all, it does not include any adware or other annoying components as other free software tends too.

Key Features

  • Burn All Kinds of Discs
  • Audio CDs (both with or without the gaps between tracks)
  • Burn and Create ISO Images
  • Data Verification After Burning Process
  • Create Bootable Dics
  • Multi-Language Interface
  • bin/nrg -> ISO Converter
  • Simple Cover Printer

As of this writing the latest version is 4.2.4 and is available for download from the CDBurnerXP website.  CDBurnerXP is compatable with Windows 2000, XP, 2003 Server, Vista, and Windows 7.
