Preview: Firefox 3.5 Available June 30

The latest major version upgrade of Mozilla’s popular web browser Firefox 3.5 will be available for download on Tuesday, June 30, 2009.  This is the first major upgrade since Firefox 3 was released in June 2008.  Mozilla had previously promised that they would make the next version of the browser available by then end of June and they made it.

You can get a sneak peak tonight if you can’t manage to wait until June 30, if you wish to download and try out the release candidate which is currently available on the Mozilla website.

So what can you expect to see new in Firefox 3.5?  Some of the noted enhancements are a faster rendering engine, better stability, a new JavaScript engine that will boost the performance of most web-based applications, and more! Watch the video below and Mike Beltzner, Director of Firefox Development, will give you a preview of what’s coming!

If you haven’t already tried Mozilla Firefox, I recommend that you give it a try!  Look for the version 3.5 download, avaialable Tuesday, June 30, 2009.
