Google Voice
Are you stuck with you current cell phone company because you’re unable to take your number to a new carrier and you don’t want the hassle of redistributing a new number? Google has saved the day again. Last week TechCrunch reported that Google was going to be adding number portability to Google Voice later this year. This is great news for me since I own a business and don’t want to contact them all with a new number. Google Voice is currently only available to GrandCentral users but are planning on opening up to the public soon. To learn more about Google Voice check out the about section on their main website.
